What is a Lightning address?

It looks like an email address ([email protected]) and lets people send you sats over Lightning without scanning a QR code.

Behind the scenes, the address asks your wallet's server for a fresh invoice each time someone pays. It's handy for tips and donations, but the server you use can see when you get paid.
